Brushing or combing hair when dry will cause frizz and breakage. Instead do while conditioning or when hair is wet.
Shampooing hair too often will strip curls of the natural oils it needs, causing dry, brittle strands and itchy scalp.
Towel drying your hair can cause dryness. Use a t-shirt instead to get rid of excess water.
Not using heat protectant if you straighten your hair regularly will cause your strands to become brittle and prone to heat damage, breakage and have lots of split ends.
Pulling your hair too tight while having it in a ponytail will cause tension, causing your hair to break and baldness
Not deep conditioning will not give your hair the moisture it needs. Since curly hair is naturally drier than other hair types, deep conditioning it exposes it to nutrients that help reduce breakage.
